DSD Electric is a Southern California electrical contractor built for industrial and commercial work where getting it right is non-negotiable.

DSD is led by people with more than 30 years of combined experience in electrical construction, and long-standing relationships with the manufacturers, general contractors, facility owners, and vendors who keep Southern California running.

Our aim is simple: do flawless electrical work, and be a genuine pleasure to partner with — every time.

People

Brent Dedmon

President

Brent Dedmon leads DSD Electric, bringing 20 years of experience building and scaling high-performing organizations across operations, commercial growth, and people strategy — including a decade in the electrical construction industry.

Brent is passionate about bridging strategy and execution, and empowering people and organizations to operate at their very best. His focus at DSD is the same as it’s always been: lead by example, doing work that is excellent and repeatable while being a genuine pleasure to partner with along the way.

Brent was born and raised in Southern California, is a proud alumnus of Biola University (B.A., M.Div) and stays busy outside of work with family, volunteering, sports, live music, and escaping on the back of his motorcycle.

Jorge Suarez

Director of Operations

Jorge Suarez has spent more than 20 years in the industrial electrical industry. He came up through the trade — starting as an apprentice and advancing as an electrician, foreman, project manager, and operations executive — and brings that full-spectrum, hands-on perspective to every project DSD takes on.

Certified since 2009, Jorge’s electrical experience spans food and beverage, aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical, packaging, commercial work, and more. As Director of Operations at DSD, he leverages that technical depth and field leadership to deliver high-quality work, built around what each client actually needs.

Jorge is the ultimate family man, raising his three kids in the heart of Southern California, and is most passionate about his volunteer involvement at ABC SoCal (2011 graduate), specifically as he helps develop the next generation of tradespeople.
